In December 2025, Rabbi Fixler will lead a delegation from Emanu El Houston to Consultation on Conscience, the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism’s flagship social justice gathering. The conference brings together Jews from all over the country to learn from visionary social justice leaders and turn our passion into action.

Alabama
March 27-30, 2025

In March 2025, Rabbi Silk and Anna Shabtay led a congregational trip, Civil Rights Journey to the American South, visiting Atlanta, Georgia, and Montgomery, Selma, and Birmingham, Alabama. The trip offered an opportunity to learn about the struggles of African Americans to gain equality in the 1950’s and 60’s, as well as discover how Jews were involved in the Civil Rights movement.

Morocco
March 3-12, 2024

In March 2024, Rabbi Hayon led a congregational trip to Morocco, visiting the famous Mosque of Hassan II, a guided tour through the Arab world’s only Jewish museum, exploration of Fes’s Medina, the Chouara Tannery, Rabat’s Royal Palace, the Mellah (Jewish quarter) of Marrakech, Djemaa El Fna Square, and much more.
