Executive Director

Congregation Emanu El seeks to partner with an energetic, skilled, and professional Executive Director to bring their talents, aspirations and initiative to the community. A desire to facilitate and build relationships, a strong presence, and a proven ability to lead, are all important characteristics. The Executive Director will strategically lead all financial, human resources, facility, technology, and administrative operations for this $7.8 million organization with a large physical plant and approximately 68 full-time employees and over 100 part-time employees (including clergy, staff, preschool, and religious schoolteachers).

Director of Communications

The Director of Communications (DOC) will direct all communications in a strategic, thoughtful approach, ensuring that a consistent, well-articulated voice of the congregation is presented across all communications channels. The DOC will develop and implement a communications strategy and will direct and manage all digital, print, internal and external communication consistent with this strategy. This is a senior-level staff position with a strategic role which reports to the Executive Director.

Director of Facilities & Security

The Director of Facilities & Security is responsible for ensuring that Emanu El’s large campus will be maintained to the highest standards and kept safe and secure. This position reports to the Executive Director and is the staff liaison for the Building and Grounds Committee and Security Task Force. This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repairs and upkeep of the campus, and oversees the physical safety and security infrastructure of our congregation.

Programming and Engagement Associate

The Programming and Engagement Associate (P&E Associate) will coordinate and implement programs in collaboration with the clergy and Director of Congregational Advancement, as well as with the leadership teams of our Becker School early childhood center and our Helfman Religious School. The P&E Associate will focus on creating connections and community through innovative programming and experiences. Emanu El programming ideas are generated collaboratively by clergy, staff, and lay leaders, who will partner with the P&E Associate on their implementation.
