Membership InquiriesPrimary Membership, at the annual contribution rate, provides funding for temple programs, activities, maintenance, clergy, and staff compensation and subsidy of our religious school. Benefits at the Primary level include High Holy Day passes and voting privileges at our annual meeting.
Associate Membership offers an opportunity for families who belong to another synagogue to join us at 30% of their commitment to their primary synagogue. Associate members do not receive Emanu El High Holy Day passes but can use their primary synagogue’s passes for reciprocity admittance. Associate Members will also pay non-member clergy officiating fees if using Emanu El clergy for lifecycle events.
Out of Town Membership offers an opportunity for families who live more than 30 miles away from Congregation Emanu El to remain connected to our synagogue. Out of Town members will not receive Emanu El High Holy Day passes and will pay non-member clergy officiating fees if using Emanu El clergy for lifecycle events.
Young Adults’ Membership is a special rate offered to those under 30 years of age.
