Emily Hill is the Helfman Religious School Assistant and Registrar. Born and raised in Houston, she moved to New York where she attended Fordham University for her undergraduate and post-baccalaureate education. She earned her B.A. in English, focusing on the use of Gothic Literature to describe the LGBTQ+ experience. She also completed a post-baccalaureate pre-medical program at Fordham University. Emily was raised in the Reform tradition and has developed a passion for Jewish education, for all ages.
When not working or studying Torah, Emily enjoys reading, baking, cooking, crafting, and singing, particularly Renaissance music. She is an amateur software developer and a lay leader for the Shabbat Morning Minyan at Congregation Beth Israel.
