This is the story of Ben and Golda Feinstein and their son, Morty, who immigrate to Brooklyn in the early 1900s. During the Depression, Ben makes a dangerous decision which may ruin his family financially. To save his father, Morty seeks help from a gangster friend which puts him on a threatening, life-altering path. This suspenseful family saga explores the questions: How much do we owe the family that has sacrificed for us, and does that debt outweigh our own hopes and dreams for a better life?
