Emanu El will welcome Rabbi Nancy Wiener for the 2024 Rozelle & Robert I. Kahn Scholar in Residence Weekend. Rabbi Wiener is the Founding Director of the Jacob and Hilda Blaustein Center for Pastoral Counseling at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR). Throughout the weekend, congregants are invited to join Rabbi Wiener for dinner, Shabbat worship services and several adult learning opportunities.
On Friday, December 6, Rabbi Wiener will deliver the sermon Hearing heart or hardened heart? during the 6:00 p.m. Kabbalat Shabbat service. Following the service, join Rabbi Wiener and the congregation for a Passover-friendly Shabbat dinner with the community. Register for dinner today and join us on the 6th.
