Yechiel Leiter, Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, will join us at Congregation Emanu El next Wednesday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m. to provide an insider’s view of international diplomacy and current events in Israel today. There will be an opportunity for Q&A but we kindly ask that questions are submitted on your registration form or when checking in at the event’s reception table. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and we expect the program to conclude by 7:15 p.m.
Ambassador Leiter assumed his role in January 2025. He has an extensive history of collaboration with diverse communities around the world and leading strategic initiatives to strengthen Israel’s position on the global stage. He previously served as an advisor to the late Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, Chief of Staff to then-Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (2004–2005), Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Education (2001–2004), and Acting Chairman of the Israel Ports Company.
