As we reach the end of the school year, we invite families of school-aged children to join us for a special Shabbat service honoring our educators, followed by a family-friendly dinner. We will be celebrating Linda Lynn and Leslie Strug, both of the Becker School, who will be retiring at the end of this school year. We will also be marking milestone years of teaching for Helfman Religious School teachers Gila Cohen, Steve Daum and Sarah Kronman; and honoring our “Over the Chai Club” of teachers who have been at Helfman for more than 18 years.
The optional dinner will be provided by Houston Catering Concepts and feature grilled chicken, chicken tenders, macaroni & cheese, and a green salad. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available. The cost of the dinner is $5 per person, and registration is required.
