Calling all baseball lovers! Beat the heat with our summer movie series, For the Love of Baseball, in the Sunset Lobby following Shabbat service on the first Friday of the month.
August’s movie, “Heading Home: The Tale of Team Israel,” highlights the 2017 underdog journey of Israel’s national baseball team competing for the first time in the World Baseball Classic. After years of defeat, Israel’s team was finally ranked among the world’s best. The team laughs and cries and—along the way—discovers the pride of representing Israel on the world stage.
The cost is $15 per person and includes a Build-Your-Own-Nachos bar and fried Oreos for dessert.
