Amy Tirk Seigle has worked in the non-profit world for most of her career. Proudly hailing from the North Coast (Cleveland, Ohio), she holds a BA in Psychology from Indiana University. Amy began her career in editorial and events at a small magazine & book publisher. Then, after five years of heading public relations and marketing for a retail bookstore, she felt the pull west and landed in Houston in 1998. Since then, Amy has worked at the Jewish Federations of Greater Houston and Rhode Island as well as Undies for Everyone, in fundraising, engagement, research, allocations, event management, and direct mail. During that time, she also served on the boards of The Shlenker School, the Shlenker Parents Association, and Women on the Way Up.
In 2023, Amy joined the Advancement Department of Congregation Emanu El, where she has supported the transformative L’Dor VaDor: For Our Jewish Future plan and its associated $21M campaign. She enjoys the camaraderie of the Emanu El Houston team, and is a big fan of wintery weather, progress on the Emanu El construction site, and the Oxford comma.
Amy and her husband, Clay, have two children, Abby and Nick, and a rescue dog, Wagner.
