Calling all chefs and volunteers! Emanu El Cares! is launching the 2025 volunteer season with a strong commitment to supporting food-insecure individuals in our community. We invite you to join us for this all-ages volunteer opportunity! For children ages four and under, Feeding the Lone Star will provide safe, Montessori-approved knives, or they can participate by baking cookies. Please note that Helfman Religious School will be closed, making this a great opportunity for families to volunteer together!
- Arrival, preparation instruction
- Prepare entrees and homemade cookie dough
- Orientation, Q&A, and a group photo to preserve the memory
- Assemble the meals in the prepared containers and packaging
- Sample the amazing food your team prepared!
