Rachel has over 20 years of experience in educational leadership and is deeply dedicated to academic excellence and the holistic development of students. She is thrilled to bring her passion for Judaism, learning, and working with children into her role at Becker.
Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University, her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Texas State University, and completed her superintendent certification at Lamar University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Early Childhood Education Leadership at American Jewish University.
Her career includes diverse leadership roles, ranging from serving as a campus principal to working as a district-level special education coordinator. Rachel’s expertise spans social-emotional learning, behavior management, student inclusion, differentiated instruction, and the development of professional learning communities.
Rachel is the mother of two boys, Eli and Ian, and is married to Philip, a high school science teacher. The family is an active part of Congregation Emanu El.
