Shabbat Worship

Shabbat worship is the weekly spiritual recharge at Congregation Emanu El. We gather in a communal exhale, embracing the end of the week with prayer, song, meditation, study, rest and renewal.

Shabbat Evening Services

Fridays, 6:00 p.m.

Our Friday night service is the main expression of our worship voice and features a diverse rotation of musical accompaniment. We take pride in exploring new interpretations of our timeless liturgy while staying committed to enduring, familiar music and language.

Shabbat Morning Services

Saturdays, 10:30 a.m.

Our warm and welcoming community invites all to share in reading and singing in our informal Proler Chapel service. Also at 10:30, young adults becoming bar and bat mitzvah lead the worship service in the Barish Sanctuary.

Tot Shabbat

First Friday (monthly), 6:30 p.m.

Families, this service is all about you! Sing, dance and schmooze with our community of families with children up to age 6 in this Shabbat experience through story and song. It’s short, joyful and social, with an optional dinner at 5:45 p.m.
