Rachel comes to Becker with nearly 20 years of educational leadership experience and a strong commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development. She is excited to be bringing together her love of Judaism, her love of learning, and her love of children at Becker, as she writes:

Here, we will celebrate the joy of experience and play, fostering growth not only for our children but for our entire Becker School family.”
Rachel and her husband, Philip, and her children, Eli and Ian, are delighted to be joining the Congregation Emanu El community. They will be relocating closer to Houston over the summer and are looking forward to being involved in our temple family.
We are grateful to the Becker Leadership Task Force, chaired by Barry Lichman, for a thoughtful, inclusive, and successful hiring process. We are excited for this new chapter in our school’s history and eager to welcome Rachel to our Becker School and Congregation Emanu El family!
