Every Wednesday morning, the EE Runners meet for an invigorating lap on the trail around Rice University. The groups steps off at 7:45 a.m. from the west parking lot.
In addition to the weekly runs, the EE Runners also hosts walks and runs in some of the most scenic parks around the city. They range from a walk along Buffalo Bayou to running on the trails at Memorial Park. The EE Runners also participate in organized events including the annual Rodeo Run, Houston Half Marathon, and the Chevron Marathon. These events are family friendly and offer different options in distances both for walking and running. All walkers, runners, friends and family are welcome to participate.
The group’s next event is the Houston Half Marathon/10k which takes place on October 31. This event is open to both walkers and runners and offers distances of 10k and 13.1 miles.
