Emanu El strives to create Jewish learning experiences for adults which engage the mind, touch the heart, and move the soul. We do this by exploring the meaning of Jewish text and discovering the richness of Jewish heritage. We aim to inspire a deeper understanding of Judaism, its heritage, its history and its identity.

Torah Study

On Shabbat mornings, we offer two insightful classes led by our clergy at 9:15 a.m. Lend your voice to the discussion, nourish your mind and soul as we discover the richness of Torah together.

Gems of Torah

Gems of Torah is an in-depth exploration of the weekly Torah portion.

Our Genesis class taught by Rabbi Emeritus Roy Walter offers a deep-dive into the Torah, line by line.

Would you like to learn more about Judaism? Are you looking to touch up on the things you learned long ago? Are you or someone you know considering conversion to Judaism? Basic Judaism is a course designed to introduce the who's, what's and how's of Judaism. Taking place Sunday mornings from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., Basic Judaism is a free course open to anyone wishing to learn about Judaism, especially individuals considering conversion to Judaism.
