Rabbi Pam Silk explores Moses’ charge to “see” the blessing and the curse set before us. Life’s difficulties do not disappear when we notice what is good. But blessing does not wait for hardship to end before it arrives. It can be found in a friend who checks in, work that matters, a beautiful sky, a shared meal, or even a messy kitchen filled with the people we love. This week, may we practice seeing: not denying what is hard, but refusing to let it be the only thing we see.
