Amy Hartley came to Congregation Emanu El from Temple Emanu-El of Dallas, where she worked as Director of Community Engagement. Amy has worked as a teacher, served in the Peace Corps in El Salvador, and in a variety of community development and leadership roles with the US Department of State around the world. Amy graduated from the University of Houston with degrees in English Literature and Spanish, and was heavily involved with Houston Hillel. Amy lives in Richmond with her husband Noel and kids Lina, Ben and Charlotte. Outside of work Amy enjoys exploring new places, hunting for unique finds at thrift stores, and practicing her Spanish.
