Families with young children will join Congregation Emanu El for this monthly event to share a special Shabbat led by a member of our clergy, geared toward families with little ones ages 0-6.
As of press time, we are planning to maintain our posture of holding Tot Shabbat outside as many of our youngest friends have not yet received access to COVID-19 vaccines. Due to this, please note that due to capacity considerations in our outside spaces, advance registration is required and only open to Becker or Emanu El families. A logistics email will be sent prior to the Tot Shabbat.
Our Tot Shabbat will begin with a picnic dinner outside in the Sculpture Garden at 5:45 p.m. (or, if weather dictates, the Gaylor Parking Facility). Families are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or something comfortable to sit on. An optional dinner will be provided by Houston Catering Concepts and feature macaroni & cheese. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available. The cost of the dinner is $5 per person.
The deadline for registration is Wednesday, March 30, or upon hitting our capacity number.
