12:00 PM - 12:45 PMJoin us on Wednesdays at noon for Conversations, as Program Director Jason Plotkin sits down with a member of the congregation, community or from the sports world to discuss the current state of affairs.
High Holy Days will be the theme of this week's edition of Conversations as Temple Sinai (Atlanta) Associate Executive Director Shelly Dresdner and Congregation Rodeph Sholom (New York) Engagement & Program Director Scott Hertz join us. Both Shelly and Scott are Emanu El alums serving at large congregations in major metropolitan areas. Their focus the last few weeks have been on preparing their communities for the High Holy Days. We will learn how each of their respective synagogues are preparing for the coming High Holy Days, the priorities that their staffs have focused on, what anticipated challenges they are expecting and what they have learned that may serve their communities going forward.
Conversations will be available on Emanu El's streaming video page (select Proler Chapel) and Facebook. For those who have missed a previous interview, all Conversations can be found on by clicking here.
