Book Review - "We Were the Lucky Ones"

Thursday, July 11, 2019 8 Tammuz 5779

6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Join us as Ed Septimus reviews Georgia Hunter’s We Were the Lucky Ones. Inspired by the true story of three generations of the Kurc family, of Radom, Poland, the author delves into incredible stories of love, separation, survival (during the Holocaust), and re-unification.

Book reviews are open to the public and are free of charge. Guests are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch. Desserts will be served.

Following the review, a “lite bites” reception honoring Emanu El’s readers and friends will take place in the Oshman Multi-Purpose Room.

While the book review is free and open to the public, please help us make adequate preparations by RSVPing online (below) or by calling the Sisterhood office at 713.529.5771, ext. 233.
