Emanu El's Disaster
Preparedness Committee has been
meeting over the past several
weeks to develop a plan that will
serve our congregation in case
of a future storm emergency. In
the works are plans to raise all
computer terminals off the floor,
commissioning protective bags
in which to place our Torahs,
and arranging for protection of
our stained glass windows in the
chapel.
They
have also developed procedures
to be followed by Temple Staff
members prior to any necessary
evacuation.
