Emanu Elders

Sponsored by Sisterhood, Emanu Elders is our congregation’s group of retirement age seniors.

The Emanu Elders have been meeting once a month for lunch and a program on the first Tuesday of the month for about 30 years.

It’s probably the longest running program at Emanu El – aside from services, of course!

You don’t have to be ancient to be an ‘elder’ – just interested in the programming, the food or the guests – or any combination.

They often take field trips to special destinations, have an annual retreat at Greene Family Camp and participate in sandwich-making at our local food pantry.
