This year our theme is
"Israel"

We will be celebrating Israel's 60th birthday in style by learning about the music, the food, the culture, the climate, the geography and so much more. We will be celebrating Israel through dance and art and education! At the end of the year when we have learned so much about Israel, we will celebrate with an Israel Carnival sponsored by our wonderful PTA!

7th Grade Overnight

Saturday night, February 2, the 7th graders hosted an overnight with the 7th grade students from Congregation Beth El in San Antonio. After eating at Chili’s in the Galleria we all donned ice skates and took to the rink.

Everyone had such a great time!

Afterwards we all went back to Emanu El for Havdallah, food, games and a little sleep.

We were very happy to have Beth El with us and we look forward to doing it again next year!

6th grade Family Education

Sunday was the 6th grade Family Education Program.

All 6th grade parents and students engaged in detailed and in depth conversations about sexuality and relationships. The feedback was terrific and everyone seemed very energized about the topics addressed.
